This month saw the launch of a new restaurant at 188 Coulsdon Road, Caterham-on-the-Hill called 'Santhees' that specialises in European food. The opening event on Saturday 17th July welcomed local residents who were able to mingle inside the restaurant or sit at tables out in the sunshine whilst sampling the complimentary food laid on by its owners.

Rolande Seudieu, the manageress of the restaurant said: "At the moment we are serving mainly Italian and French food but we are listening to what our customers want and will be updating the menu according to local demand."
