Church Walk Shopping Centre Caterham added another award to their collection at the recent SCEPTRE (Shopping Centre Excellence in People, Towns & Retail) Awards in June. Shelley Filippi, Centre Manager, received the accolade of Highly Commended for Manager of the Year for a Small Shopping Centre 2015.

The SCEPTRE awards are organized by Shopping Centre magazine and were launched in 2000 to recognize successes and achievements in the Shopping Centre industry.

Shelley was a finalist in 2009 for Marketing Manager, Commendation for Manager in 2010, winner for Manager of the Year of a small Centre in 2011 and finalist Marketing Manager in 2012.

2015 saw a record number of entries; Shelley was shortlisted down to the final six national centers in June which included:- Clifton Down, Northfield, The Exchange, Hildreds Skegness and Merlin’s Walk.

Shelley who joined Church Walk in August 2006 commented on the results: “This is absolutely fantastic news it would not have been possible without the hard work of the onsite team and the response of our customers over the years.”
