Caterham Carnival Committee presents cheques at its AGM |

On Thursday 16th September the Annual General Meeting of the Caterham Carnival Committee took place when cheques for ¡ê2,250 were presented to each of this year's carnival beneficiaries by Chairman, Martin Vaux. The cheque presented to Tim Evans from Chaldon Scouts will go towards the scout group's new toilets and kitchen. Sheila Wallace and Andrea Frost collected a cheque for Caterham Sea Cadets who will put the money towards their new minibus. Steve Williams, Samuel Varley and Ryan Sandiford collected a cheque for Queens Park FC. Their money will be used for renewing floodlights, purchasing mini soccer nets and new kits. Lee Parmenter representing the Old Caterhamians Youth RFC Under 14's received a cheque that will go towards the squad's tour of Italy next year.
