A painting entitled 'Felix the Cat' by Evi Trickey won the 'People's Choice' award at this year's exhibition by the Caterham Art Group held at the Soper Hall in Harestone Valley Road last month. Second prize was awarded to John Ward for his painting, 'River Wey' and Brenda Mulville won third prize for her painting 'Bolero'.

The historic setting of the Soper Hall is the perfect venue for art exhibitions where work can be displayed on its attractive wood-panelled walls, with plenty of extra space to display crafts as well as paintings.
