Father Christmas is coming to Caterham next Friday, 26th November to switch on the Christmas lights in Church Walk Shopping Centre to launch the late night shopping event. He will arrive in a Caterham 7 car led by a lantern procession by the1st Caterham cubs and scouts. The cubs and scouts will then sing carols around the Christmas tree with their festive lanterns. There will be entertainment from 3.00 - 8.00 pm including free face painting, a children's shop window treasure hunt and the switching on of the lights at 6pm. Special guests, Mother Christmas and Christmas Lunacy will also be attending the event. Parking in the Morrisons car park will be free from 3pm.
