The cold snap is causing a bit of a stir at one local charity shop. Naked mannequins in the window of the St Catherine's Hospice shop at 31 Croydon Road, Caterham, urgently need dressing with donations of quality clothing to ensure they can see out the cold weather. Senior Shops manager Christine Cooling says, "Our poor mannequins are freezing! If you've made a New Year's Resolution to start a detox why not start by detoxing your wardrobes of all those items you just don't wear anymore. And if you're a UK taxpayer, did you know you can gift aid your donation and make your gift go further? "If you have some spare time on your hands, we're always keen to hear from volunteers who can help us keep our stock flying off the shelves." Last year, St Catherine's Hospice helped over 600 patients and their families across East Surrey, providing vital end of life care, and their shops are vital in helping to ensure this care is free for all who need it.
