Labour’s Parliamentary hopeful in East Surrey says the general election will be fought on the choice for Britain whoever the Conservatives select after Peter Ainsworth stands down. Matt Rodda, Labour prospective parliamentary candidate for East Surrey, said: “The General election in 2010 will be a fundamental choice between aspiration or austerity. “It is a choice between a Labour Government that believes in public services and will protect those front line services while halving the Government’s deficit in four years - or a Conservative one which will make deep cuts in front line public services and threaten the recovery. “The choice between the parties is essentially the same whoever is the Conservative candidate in East Surrey.”
