At the time of writing Whyteleafe FC has only three games left in the season. Whilst mathematically Leafe can still be relegated, the results should not matter too much, as they look to have done enough to keep them playing in the Ryman League for next season.

The month started brightly with Leafe continuing their good run of form with back to back wins, firstly 2-1 away to Fleet and then a resounding 4-0 win against play off hopefuls Walton Casuals.

The revival in Leafe fortunes, which resulted in eight wins in 12 games, saw them move to mid table and there was even talk of a possible top half finish, but the end of March saw a reversal in fortune. Chris O'Flaherty, who has been an impressive performer throughout the season, left on transfer deadline day to join Met Police, who were bolstering their squad in a final push for the title. With Leafe seemingly safe from the drop, a few younger players were drafted into the squad so that manager, Nicky English, could start to assess his options for next season. Whilst the youngsters performed well, Leafe unfortunately set off on a run of four straight defeats. A cruel 2-1 defeat at home to Worthing, with Worthing scoring a late winner, was followed by narrow defeats at home to Burgess Hill (3- 2), and then two 1-0 away defeats against title chasing Bognor and Faversham Town, where a host of missed chances proved costly.
